When your business-as-usual (primary) location becomes inaccessible or inoperable, the smartnumbers service ensures that calls continue to be delivered to a pre-determined secondary location.
If you have been assigned a personal override service, you can choose to divert the calls to an alternative phone number to suit your personal situation.
- Dial your Personal Business Continuity service on the number provided and enter your Personal Business Continuity service ID and password.
The system will inform you of your current call diverting setting.
- To divert calls to your own choice of phone number, press 1
- Enter the phone number using your keypad, followed by the # key.
The system will confirm you have changed your divert settings and request that you confirm the phone number entered is correct by pressing 1 again.
