You may want to answer calls to your Smartnumber on a phone other than your mobile. Use Location to control where calls to your Smartnumber are delivered.
Each location can be any national or international phone number, so you can receive your calls on the phone that is most convenient at the time. For example:
- If you have poor mobile coverage at home, divert calls to your home phone.
- If you’re working abroad, divert calls to your hotel room landline or to a Skype account.
You can set your location in the Location menu, found in the Settings menu.
Before you select a location, you’ll need to set it. Simply tap on a location you want to set, and you’ll be able to enter a number.
Mobile → The phone number of the device with Smartnumbers Mobile installed.
Home → Calls to your Smartnumber can be delivered to your home number.
Desk → Your business phone number. Calls to your Smartnumber can be delivered to your business Direct Dial In (DDI) number.
Temporary → A temporary phone number you wish to use for receiving calls, for example, a hotel room or spare mobile phone.
Additionally, you can use Duet Mode to have calls delivered to your current location and your mobile phone at the same time, so you don’t miss a call.
Tip: Smartnumbers Mobile redirects all incoming calls to your Smartnumber to the Mobile Location by default. If no telephone numbers are specified for any of the Locations, incoming calls will be directed to the Mobile Location.
