Ensure that calls to your Smartnumber are answered even when you are unavailable by using Delegate.
A delegate is a colleague or help desk number that you can choose to receive calls on your behalf if you are unavailable.
Set your availability to Delegate to divert calls to your Smartnumber directly to your delegate. When selecting your delegate you can enter a telephone number or select a contact.
When the delegate receives the call, the Smartnumbers service plays a message explaining that they are receiving a delegated call. Callers can also press 0 to break out of voicemail and be connected to your delegate.
You can select your delegate from the Availability menu, accessible from the Menu.
Note: SMS and Voicemails will be sent only to your Smartnumber and not to the delegate that you have selected.
