Once you’ve downloaded smartnumbers mobile
When you first open smartnumbers mobile, you’ll be asked to enter your login details.
Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be asked if you’d like to allow smartnumbers to send you push notifications. This allows us to notify you when new messages or voicemails have been recieved.
To view your existing phone contacts in smartnumbers mobile, allow it to access your contacts.
Setting your device number
When you sign in for the first time, you will be asked to enter the phone number of your device.
Don’t enter your smartnumber. Enter your usual mobile number.
Listening to your business voicemail and reading text messages
Your business voicemail and text messages are kept separate from your personal messages.
Select Messages from the bottom menu.
To view and listen to voicemails, tap on the Voicemail icon.
Answering your business mobile calls on other phones
Sometimes it is more convenient to answer your business calls on other phones. For example, if you’re working at home with poor mobile signal, you can set smartnumbers to call your home phone number.
Open the Settings menu, then tap on Locations.
Set your home phone number.
And then tap this number to set it as alternative location.
Set your status as Busy to prevent business calls
At times, you may want to temporarily stop incoming business calls whilst you’re busy. smartnumbers mobile allows you to set a status to automatically reject calls, and let other smartnumbers users know that you’re unavailable.
Open the Settings menu, then tap Availability
Tap busy to set your status. Calls will be rejected until you set your status as available.
