In July 2019, under Ofcom’s new rules, mobile customers will be allowed to switch providers by simply sending a free text message.
At Resilient, our mobile service is an addition to your underlying mobile network provider and therefore it is important that you know what you need to do if you want to switch away from us.
If you want to leave us, we’re sorry to see you go.
If you want to change mobile provider and keep your mobile number, you will need to request this via your company’s authorised contact. The authorised contact can request a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) by calling us on 0306 790 2000 or via email on email@example.com.
We can let you know if you have to pay any Early Termination Charges which you will incur if you terminate your contract before the contract end date.
We can also provide you with any further details about your contract and any impacts to other lines and services you have with us.
If you want to go ahead with the switch, you have to give the PAC to your new provider. Your PAC will be valid for 30 days. If you do not give your PAC to your new provider, your service will not switch to the new provider, your number will not port, and your current contract will continue.
If you want to change mobile provider and automatically cancel your current service but not keep your mobile number.
To terminate your contract, you will need to speak to your company’s authorised contact who can call us on 0306 790 2000 or via email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be subject to the notice period in your contract, during which we will continue to provide you with our service, and during which you will have to pay for our service. At the end of the notice period, your contract with us will terminate, and you will receive your final bill.
If you wish to bring your mobile service to smartnumbers
If you decide to switch to us, you can speak to our sales team who can help you request a Porting (PAC) or Service Termination (STAC) from your current provider.
When you have given us your PAC or STAC, your service (and mobile number, if you use a PAC) will switch at the agreed contract start date.
