You can define permissions for each Smartnumbers Hub user. The permissions that can be set are:
Telephony management permissions
Determines what level of access the user has to general call routing, including call flows that can then feed into Control routing services:
- Call flow access
If this permission is applied, the user can see the call flows area of Smartnumbers Hub. There are two levels of access that can be selected for each user:- View-only access
The user can only see the table of call flows, view what numbers are assigned to each one, and view the call flow setup without being able to edit it in any way. - Full access
The user can view, add, edit, assign and unassign numbers, delete, import, and export all call flows. Please note this permission should only be assigned to users with the correct training, as improper use of the call flow designer can cause calls to live numbers not being delivered.
- View-only access
- The user can add, edit, manage and delete basic routing services and update their destinations (using numbers and announcements). Users with this permission can also create new basic routing services from the call flow designer instead of just being able to use existing ones.
- Nuisance call manager
The user can add, rename, and delete nuisance callers in the nuisance caller list, as well as block new nuisance callers directly from the call log. - Audio files manager
The user can add, edit, and delete audio files in the audio files area of Smartnumbers Hub. Users with these permissions can also upload new audio files when managing call flows and Control routing services to be used in announcements and IVRs.
Control permissions
User permissions needed to manage Control routing services (granular, number-by-number routing with the possibility of failover):
- Routing service access
Set which routing services the user can access and view. Please note that the granular Control permissions will apply to all routing services that the user can view. Users with this permission can also create new Control services from the call flow designer instead of just being able to use existing ones.- There are two possibilities for determining access to individual Control services:
- Any routing service
Grants the user access to all routing services in the tenancy and make changes as determined by their other Control permissions. - Selected routing services
The user can access, view, and make changes as determined by their Control permissions, but only in specific routing services. A user access admin can use checkboxes to determine which services the user with this permission can access.
- Any routing service
- Routing service editor
The user can edit the service name and description, enable or disable the plan activation by telephone feature, and configure the reasons for automatic failover. - Routing table access
If this permission is applied, the user can see the routing table area for the relevant services. Otherwise, the user can only see which plans are active.- View-only access
The user can only see and search the routing table without being able to edit it in any way. - Full access
The user can view and edit the destinations, enable and disable routes, and import or export the routing table.
- View-only access
- Plan manager
The user can add, edit and delete routing service plans to predefine where calls will be delivered in a given scenario. Activating these plans is governed by a separate permission, though the user can edit the currently active plan with this permission. - Plan activator
The user can instantly switch to different active plans via Smartnumbers Hub. Please note that this does not affect which users can actually edit the active plan.
