Smartnumbers can protect you from nuisance and spam callers that overwhelm phone lines, ensuring callers can always reach your organisation. Smartnumbers allows you to instantly redirect or block bad actors, even if they have withheld their number.
To manage the list of nuisance callers, you can go to the Nuisance callers area of Smartnumbers Hub. There are two ways to add new numbers to the list of nuisance callers:
Each one is useful in a different situation:
- If you know their number, you can add them manually:
- Using the Call log, you can find the call that you identified as a nuisance and add the caller to the list of nuisance callers, even if their number is withheld:
You can add notes for yourself and your team that help you identify the caller as well as provide the reason for recognising the caller as a nuisance caller. The list of nuisance callers can then be managed in the Nuisance callers area of Smartnumbers Hub:
Depending on the setup of your call flows, the nuisance callers can then be redirected to a team dedicated to dealing with them or, for example, their call can be dropped altogether.
For more information about how to add a nuisance call protection service into your call flows, see Getting started with the call flow designer or take a look at the Top 5 use cases for call flows.
The Smartnumbers Support Team can also work with you to add this service to your call flow based on your requirements, and support tickets should be raised for any subsequent changes.
