The transfer to number service allows you to route calls to all numbers assigned to a call flow to one number. It can be used when there is just one number in the call flow or in cases where a branch of a call flow should send all calls to one number regardless of what Smartnumber the caller has dialled.
Transfer to number services can be set up in the call flow designer. Calls can be delivered to:
- Any UK number, including mobile (e.g. 07), geographic (e.g. 01/02) and non-geographic (e.g. 0800) numbers
- Any international number once you have contacted Smartnumbers Support and asked for it to be added to the list of approved numbers, as this may incur charges
If you would like to send calls to an announcement instead of a number please add an announcement service to your call flows instead.
After dragging and dropping the transfer to number service into your call flow and connecting it to an upstream service, you have several configuration options to reflect your needs:
- Phone number
All calls that reach this service in the call flow will be routed to the number you specify. This means the call will be transferred to the destination number and no longer be handled by the call flow. - Timeout (seconds)
Set how long the phone will ring after the call is transferred to the destination number. After the specified amount of time the call will be dropped. The time is in seconds.
