Thanks for choosing Smartnumbers Control. This help page will provide you with all the information you need to get set up.
Please take the time to familiarise yourself with this process and the information we ask you to provide at each stage.
1. Number porting
If you are keeping your existing numbers then we will arrange for them to be ported from your existing provider to Smartnumbers.
For us to be able to arrange this we will ask you to complete a Pre-Porting Questionnaire (PPQ) and Letter of Authority (LoA).
Please return these documents to Smartnumbers as soon as possible so we can get you set up without delay.
We will email you once your port date has been scheduled so you know when to expect your service to go live.
2. Creating your new Control Call Routing Services
Once your port date is scheduled we will ask you to complete the ‘Getting started with Smartnumbers’ document.
This document will give us the information we need to create:
- Routing services
- User accounts and permissions
3. Configuring the Services
You will receive an email to confirm that your new routing services have been created.
At this point your services are not yet live (this happens on the port date).
The next steps must be done before the port date. If not completed then your calls will not be delivered.
- Create an account in the Smartnumbers Hub from the link in the welcome email
- Upload your call routes and creating your first plan
4. Go-live
Your routing services will go live on the port date.
Your dedicated Smartnumbers support agent will test your new services to make sure everything is working as expected.
You will receive an email confirming that the port has been successful and that your services are now live.
